Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee our construction projects. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects from start to finish.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to establish project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met, making adjustments and recommendations as necessary.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, providing clear instructions, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals are obtained in a timely manner, and that projects comply with local building codes and regulations.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other project-related correspondence.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing appropriate measures to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Lead project meetings, providing regular updates to stakeholders and facilitating effective communication between team members.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols and standards, promoting a culture of safety awareness and ensuring a safe working environment on construction sites.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in construction project management, incorporating innovative approaches where applicable.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, demonstrating successful completion of construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices, including familiarity with building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgets and control costs.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail in all construction activities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to construction sites as required.
