Sr. System Software Developer - TS/SCI FSP

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer support, operations and maintenance (O&M), system engineering and application development for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS), including ServiceNow and SalesForce, and newly developed and/or customized applications for Sponsor systems.
• Create effective business and technical strategies and solutions to address current and objective architectures. Work shall include Tier 1 user support, problem resolution, and maintenance to all provided capabilities and existing systems. These systems should operate 24/7 without interruption and meet Sponsor approved timelines for new development activities in support of common tools and solutions.
• Ensure all development and modifications to existing Sponsor applications comply with Sponsor’s policies and regulations.
• Communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries, and with other contractor teams in support of approximately 50 existing systems, applications, tools, and websites.
• Provides operations support for incident response, including experience with Windows Active Directory groups, ACLs; acknowledge and maintain all mandatory training requirements
• Designs, develops, and maintains web content and services using Ruby, Java, Python, MySQL, RDS, ServiceNow, Restful web services
• Develops and maintains software quality assurance content, processes, and services, including experience with test automation with ServiceNow, Katalon, Jenkins, and Selenium
• Design, develop and maintain software applications and databases, including experience with restful services, ServiceNow and SalesForce
• Design, develop and maintain applications, new applications development, modifications of existing applications, transition of legacy applications to new technologies, including experience with restful services, ServiceNow and SalesForce

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience identifying and validating requirements for web sites, applications, and web services
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows OS and associated Active Directory
• Demonstrated experience using JIRA and Confluence
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Products; MS Office 2016, Outlook 2016, and Skype for Business
• Demonstrated experience using the technical and functional design requirements related to Java, JavaScript, Ruby, CMS, Angular, and ServiceNow developing languages.
• Demonstrated experience using Spring, Hibernate, and JSF frameworks
• Demonstrated experience with AJAX and Java EL for web applications and application data logic
• Demonstrated experience with Apache TomCat as a web server for JAVA implementations
• Demonstrated experience with web technologies, including CSS and HTML
• Demonstrated experience with Frontend design: Bootstrap and VanillaJS
• Demonstrated experience using ElasticSearch search/analytics engine
• Demonstrated experience using MySQL relational database management systems
• Demonstrated experience with version control software, Git/GitHub
• Demonstrated experience using MongoDB database environment
• Demonstrated experience with scripting languages including Python and Perl
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with development teams for new codes, updates, modifications, transitions, and implementation of new and existing requirements.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with system users and customers to determine present and future user needs.
• Demonstrated experience with requirements life cycle to define new requirements, refine existing requirements, analyze, track, and test requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical problems and issues.
• Demonstrated experience working independently and within groups.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile development.
• Demonstrated experience with Help Desk customer support.
