Job Description

About the Role

Sibylline is hiring a Project Manager to support our client’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) program. This role is based from anywhere in the US (virtual role) and will report to the Senior Project Manager within the Insights and Global Initiatives team. The Project Manager assist in managing large-scale, global projects for the GSOC, including the Crisis Management System. This role will be responsible for coordinating across GSOC project-related efforts, providing project management expertise to GSOC teams as needed, and ensuring the overall successful delivery of initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Project Manager in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and project timelines;
  • Provide regular project updates to the Senior Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders, including project status, risks, and issues;
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget;
  • Coordinate project activities and resolve any project-related issues that may arise;
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date;
  • Provide project management expertise to GSOC teams as needed, including guidance on best practices, tools, and processes;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and actively seek opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Minimum

  • College degree in Business Administration, Business Studies, Management, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale projects, preferably in a global environment;
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Engage with cross-functional project teams, including remote and/or virtual teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.

​Desired

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or above) in a related field;
  • Experience managing projects in the big tech industry;
  • PMP certification or equivalent / similar;
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, etc.);
  • Familiarity with crisis management systems and processes.
