Data Analyst III

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Data Analyst III is an exempt position responsible for the ongoing support of Gulf Coast JFCS' Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, Practice Management System, Clinical Workstation, and all other related clinical applications that together comprise or support the longitudinal patient record. The Data Analyst III is also responsible for report design and development.

• Develop and modify databases as necessary to meet program contract reporting needs and monitoring requirements using Netsmart Avatar Electronic Health Record (EHR) products, Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, Cache Database Server
• Perform Netsmart Avatar and SQL database design, development, implementation, and integration with other programs
• Address Netsmart Avatar, Avatar Help Desk Related work requests and document in the Help Desk database
• Collaborate with various department and program leadership for outcomes and data submissions
• Use Modeled Options, ScriptLink and Web Services to extend the use of the MyAvatar EHR
• Perform/create user interface design, development and implementation using transactions, menus and parameter development
• Recommend and implement improvements in existing applications which lead to a more effective collection, analysis, and reporting of data
• Develop and implement trainings for Avatar
• Maintain, install/configure software and maintain server databases
• Submit State reporting for funders
• Mentor lower-level Data Analysts
• Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• ??Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, computer science, information technology, public health with a focus on quantitative analyses, or related field and five (5) years of experience in data analysis?

  • ??or, Master’s degree in business analytics, computer science, information technology, public health, or related field, and two (2) years of experience in data analysis?

• In-depth understanding of Netsmart’s Avatar EHR system or comparable electronic health record system
• ??Exceptional knowledge of query languages?
• ??Knowledge of various coding languages?
