Job Title: ECommerce Fulfillment Manager

A little bit about our team:

Homemade Merchandise is a music and entertainment merchandising company based in Los Angeles, California. We partner directly with some of the world’s best musicians, comedians, podcasts and brands for whom we operate e-commerce websites and organize touring merchandise on behalf.

Your role:

The E-commerce Fulfillment Manager will oversee all aspects of our direct-to-consumer fulfillment warehouse, managing a team of approximately 8 individuals. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient order processing, inventory control, and timely shipping in line with our service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce logistics, leadership skills, and a passion for optimizing processes.

Here you’ll get to:

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of pickers and packers to achieve daily operational goals
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity, and high morale
• Oversee the entire order fulfillment process from picking to packing and shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Implement and monitor processes to minimize errors and improve order accuracy
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and oversee stock management, including receiving, storing, and tracking products
• Conduct regular inventory audits and work to resolve discrepancies
• Manage relationships with mail carriers (USPS, UPS, DHL) to ensure timely delivery of shipments and adherence to shipping SLAs
• Monitor shipping performance and address any issues or delays with carriers
• Analyze fulfillment processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
• Utilize data to drive decision-making and enhance operational efficiency
• Prepare and present regular reports on fulfillment performance, including key metrics related to order processing, shipping times, and inventory accuracy

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred but not required)
• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment, warehousing, or logistics management
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing teams
• Strong understanding of inventory management and shipping logistics
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
