The Supply Chain Manager is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills. You must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management.
You will be responsible for developing and executing Supply Chain strategies and plans for capture/proposal efforts and program execution. The MPM will serve as the liaison between the Program Executive, Program Managers, IPT’s and the Supply Chain organization and will be responsible for the development, coordination and execution of all program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives.
This position will directly support the Secure Information Systems (SIS) Program Area Director and will be part of the staff responsible for overseeing all supply chain activities within SIS.
This individual will serve as the leader for all program’s supply chain activities and will advise the SCM Director and Associate Director as well as the Program Management Office leadership team on material strategies and plans.
You will also be required to direct other MPM’s on the program supported program activities. You will support and advise front end of the business SCM activities including early Supply Chain Management involvement, early supplier involvement and other strategic sourcing initiatives. The position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence and have an effect on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team.
The main responsibilities of this position will be successful management of supplier performance and achieving the product area’s AOP.
Develop and execute material program plans (MPP). Establish Material Sales Forecasts for the programs within SISMS.
Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs
Monitor performance metrics and proactively acts to address program and functional issues.
Strong Earned Value Management and Financial management skills, including Material EAC’s and Material Forecasting

Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Project Management, or related work experience
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Demonstrated performance against financial budgets and forecasts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experienced leader communicating and presenting to all levels of Management and senior leadership
Experience with government regulations (i.e., FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc.)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must have a US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Integrated Product Team (IPT)/Cross functional teams, including leading an IPT.
Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent
Experience with Proposal and New Busin
