The Job:
As an Associate Licensing Manager you’ll be part of our Licensing team as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:
Responsible for managing and executing Stanley Black & Decker’s Power Tools Licensing Business, with both new and existing partners.
Assist in the development of 3 year strategic plans with licensing partners to include product roadmaps and product development.
Manage licensed product development projects with cross-functional teams including ID, engineering, legal, and commercialization teams.
Review, coordinate and approve assets for packaging and merchandising in the licensing portal.
Quarterback and coordinate approvals for concept, ID and engineering steps in the portal.
Update on-boarding decks for new licensing partners and lead the onboarding sessions in collaboration with teams (licensing agency, ID, brand, engineering, finance).
Collect key assets and information from licensed partners on new products, marketing initiatives, and critical business updates for internal meetings and report outs.
Manage intake forms for social influencer requests, website uploads, trade show samples, and other marketing initiatives.
Assist in developing brand strategy for key licensees that is consistent with the core brand content. This will include: Developing website content (product pages, landing pages, ideas + inspiration content), scheduling email marketing and social media posts and working with the licensees and brand team to create content, working with internal teams to connect licensing programs with social influencers, sponsorships and tv ad campaigns.
Perform regular retail store walks to develop awareness of competitive brands in market, shelf presence, and competitive landscapes. Document findings and develop a point of view on business impact.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related discipline.
3 – 5 years experience within related field a plus.
Brand experience in understanding the meaning of brands and how to maximize their potential. Familiarity with Hardware and Construction Brands Preferred.
Excellent project management skills, with ability to manage multiple work priorities
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
