Technical Production Coordinator: Performance Capture

Rockstar is on the lookout for a talented Production Coordinator with strong communication and organization skills to join our Technical Production Team for Performance Capture. The ideal candidate is proactive with a meticulous attention to detail who thrives in an exciting, innovative, and fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan. 

WHAT WE DO

• We provide production support for our Technical Art Performance Capture Teams.
• We proactively identify and solve issues before they impact our development teams.
• We collaborate with Performance Capture Operators, Research & Development, Animators, and other technical teams to coordinate, schedule, and track actions needed to successfully achieve team goals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assign, prioritize, and track tasks using project management tools. 
• Maintain an engaged awareness of team goals and timelines. 
• Help manage the flow of tasks and information between disciplines and team members. 
• Maintain continuous internal and cross-department communication and build relationships. 
• Prioritize incoming requests and questions. 
• Identify and resolve production issues proactively. 
• Ensure meetings are properly documented and actioned. 
• Work with leads to create and maintain effective documentation. 
• Understand the needs and workflows of the Performance Capture team and connected teams, proactively helping to streamline our project management processes. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years experience as a production coordinator and/or project manager supporting software development teams.  
• Certified and experienced in production methodologies (such as Agile/Scrum) for software development. 

SKILLS

• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with a large, cross-department set of stakeholders. 
• Highly effective communicator with demonstrated experience hosting meetings, presentations, and workshops. 
• Experience with project tracking and bug database software. 
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail in order to proactively identify bottlenecks and resolve problems. 
• Experience with documenting processes, ideally with Confluence. 

PLUSES

• Experience working in a Motion Capture environment. 
• Experience with programming languages such as C# or Python. 
• Experience contributing to the maintenance of a project plan and schedule. 
• Eagerness to learn new workflows and software tools. 
• Production experience in games, entertainment, tech or similar creative industry.
