Koch Fertilizer in Beatrice, NE is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. This leader will play an instrumental role in ensuring our site meets its maintenance and reliability commitments to the business.
This is a day shift position working Monday - Friday and is eligible for relocation and sign on incentives.
What You Will Do
- Champion Koch’s Principled Based Management philosophy to develop the capability of maintenance organization and drive culture within the team. The maintenance organization is comprised of both Mechanical and Instrumentation & Electrical technicians.
- Responsible for the development and results of maintenance personnel and a high performing team.
- Relationship building with site leaders and our customers to be a provider of choice and a preferred partner.
- Lead the maintenance team during turnarounds, planned and unplanned events and outages.
- Coordination of the daily maintenance schedule and maintenance resources to prioritize work execution for the craftspeople and the site.
- Working side by side with other site leaders to ensure efficient execution of precision maintenance.
- Drive safety excellence promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards while implementing appropriate mitigating strategies based on the risk involved
- Drive compliance in all aspects of safety, environmental and Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Drive reliability and mechanical excellence through diligent execution of precision and proactive maintenance strategies
- Direct and lead craftsman in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of process equipment including associated equipment during normally scheduled and off hours as required
- Drive consistent documentation of repair records, verifying and auditing proper work methods (Quality Assurance)
- Improve, develop, and implement maintenance process improvements and efficiencies.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 2+ years supervisory or Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
