Overview

The Sr. Director, Global Partnerships will be responsible for generating revenue opportunities through traditional and non-traditional global partnerships that impact signage, intellectual property rights, radio, premium, ticketing, merchandise/concessions in their existing network of contacts, renewals and cold calling. 

 

This role will pay a salary of $200,000 to $225,000.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing new corporate partnerships to meet annual revenue goals.
  • Management of sales representatives
  • Achieving established sales goals and budgets set by team management.
  • Effectively prospecting (“cold calling”) local, regional and national companies for qualified sales leads and calling on executive-level decision-makers for new business opportunities.
  • Maintaining and reporting weekly sales/prospecting activity.
  • Communicating with the Global Partnership Services team to ensure proper fulfillment of partnership contracts to maintain current status of all proposals, presentations, and contract preparation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration managing internal and external partnership expectations.
  • Hosting and entertaining prospective and current clients in suite & hospitality areas.
  • Effectively working with Marketing Solutions preparing and presenting proposals to individuals and large groups
  • Developing business relationships with potential sponsors
  • Identify key open categories and new categories as prospective new business leads.
  • Conduct emails and calls to set meetings with new potential global partners.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years in sales/business development role for a sports/entertainment company; able to demonstrate consistent history of exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience developing and selling fully integrated sponsorship packages using a variety of assets including (i.e., entitlement and naming rights, in-venue visibility, digital media, broadcast media, social media assets, etc.).
  • Experience developing engaging and impactful sales plans and presentations, promotional campaigns, proposals and associated contract negotiations.
  • Strong internal drive and work ethic; willing to go above and beyond to deliver for the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate, influence and build positive relationships within a multitude of business environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and efficiently lead and prioritize multiple projects at once.
