Walmart is hiring an Enterprise Business Services Specialist to support the Accounts Receivable functions on the Health and Wellness team!

You will play a critical role on our team, working on various Accounts Receivable tasks and processes for Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies and vision centers across North America.
Job Description:
This role is designed for an individual contributor who is motivated by complex, purposeful challenges and has the capability to learn quickly.
This person will support the assigned business area in the development of strategies, practices, systems, and activities by conducting analyses of initiatives to understand and communicate existing trends; analyzing and interpreting data; and translating data analysis into recommendations that are aligned with business objectives.
This role will manage compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and company policies and procedures by analyzing and interpreting reports; implementing and monitoring human resource compliance processes; and ensuring confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records.
This position will complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
This position will comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Identifying and defining financial metrics that impact an outcome.
- Researching and reconciling AR, matching carrier payments to open AR, and providing rebilling and refunds to carriers.
- Researching and resolving unapplied cash efficiently and timely for Sam's Club and Walmart through insurance outreach, portal access, and claims review.
- Providing necessary details (EOB/835 files) for posting to reduce both unapplied cash and account receivable.
- Performing basic analyses based on direction provided and then effectively communicating analyses results to appropriate stakeholders.
- Understanding factors and trends related to financial performance.
- Assessing remittances, using web portals, and applying payments made to Walmart pharmacies and vision centers across multiple subledgers.
- Utilizing Excel to ensure correct payment collections.
- Researching, correcting, and resubmitting denied claims for payment.
- Addressing opportunities to decrease the number of denied claims.
- Verifying daily and monthly deposit amounts by pulling reports.
- Managing functional partnerships through collaboration with stakeholders and vendors.
- Driving innovation within our team while ensuring data accuracy.
