Summary/Primary Role:
This role works primarily in client facing sales activities to increase Brightcore Energy’s market reach and opportunity pipeline. They will focus on supporting the progression of new and existing customer engagement. They will assist in all engagements and research efforts, maintain CRM database with updated information, and evaluate potential targets sites for geothermal, solar, and led opportunities. The Project Development Analyst identifies sales opportunities through cold-calling, existing mailing lists and researching prospective customer organizations. They are also responsible for gaining new leads and converting them into ongoing customers by building lasting connections and relationships. The candidate must also be focused on team growth and clean energy and sustainability.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

- Conduct client-facing sales activities to expand Brightcore Energy’s market reach and strengthen the opportunity pipeline.
- Assist with new and existing customer engagements, including outreach, research, and follow-up communication.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer data to support sales and business development efforts.
- Analyze and evaluate potential target sites for geothermal, solar, and LED energy opportunities.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities through cold-calling, leveraging mailing lists, and researching prospective customer organizations.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with leads to convert them into long-term customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote growth, support strategic goals, and ensure seamless project execution.
- Demonstrate passion for clean energy solutions and sustainability in all client interactions.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance customer engagement and sales strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify potential business opportunities.
- Provide research and insights for sales strategies and initial client meetings.
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, engineering, business administration or similar.
- 1-2 years of experience in related sales or research support position preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as HubSpot.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong listening and sales skills.
- Ability to achieve targets.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Expected Hours of Work & Salary:
An Employee is expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws, while exempt employees may be required to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill their job responsibilities. Overtime requirements will be determined based on the operational needs of the organization.
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Brightcore also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to compliment the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $75,000-$95,000.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel Required up to 15% within the Northeast.
