Job Description:

Provides individual career planning services to University of Florida studentsfocused on graduate students and advanced degree seekers. Facilitates virtual career planning appointments, drop-in servicesand small group coaching to University of Florida graduate students from all majors and colleges.  

Develops materials for graduate students including revising Canvas shells, coordinating messaging to students, supporting graduate student-focused programming, and outreach. Supports Career Design Learning Specialist for Advanced Degrees with building career development handouts, resources, and updates to messaging for graduate students. 

Facilitates virtual career development programming and outreach to student organizations, campus partners, and faculty to promote career services and the Career Connections Center- with a focus on graduate studentsEngages campus partners (i.e. alumni, staff, faculty, employers, families) to support programsoutreach, and services to assist students with career exploration and career preparation. Provides in-person virtual career development programming to student organizations, campus partners, and faculty as needed.  

Aids in maintaining quantitative and qualitative records for various types of interactions for assessment and reporting purposes to demonstrate impact. Responsible for tracking and reporting on student engagement for campus stakeholders, including service delivery and outreach. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of career development trends.

Expected Salary:

$14.00 /hr
