Accounting Intern

Serigraph is seeking an Accounting Intern to work Part-Time in our with our Corporate Accounting Team. The Accounting Intern is a temporary, entry-level position that provides an opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience and learn about the accounting profession. The Accounting Intern will work closely with the accounting team to assist with a variety of tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and other accounting projects. This position will gain valuable experience in multiple areas of accounting and finance.

Accounting Intern Responsibilities -

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing.
• Prepare financial reports and perform financial analysis utilizing Excel.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Assist with providing data to be included in the preparation of tax returns.
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
• Travel between plant locations, as necessary.

Accounting Intern Qualifications Necessary -

• Enrolled in an accredited accounting, finance or related program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in project management
• A team player with excellent communication skills and strong desire to take on new challenges.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Competency in various financial and ERP software programs
• Prior manufacturing experience is ideal, but not required.
