Regional Director, Real Estate
Reports to: Senior Regional Director, Real Estate
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a Regional Director to drive further growth in various geographic markets within the Multifamily Housing/Real Estate industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-year proven track record of selling consultative services or other products/services within the multifamily or real estate industry to executives across procurement, operations, facilities, IT, finance, and/or human resources. The candidate must effectively cultivate relationships and clearly demonstrate the ability to drive increased utilization of our solutions within current and prospected member organizations. The candidate will need to be self-driven, organized and have superior communication skills, allowing them to accelerate growth for the nation’s premier Real Estate group purchasing organization (GPO).
Position Responsibilities
• Identify opportunities within the assigned members, or prospects, and effectively position OMNIA Partner’s GPO offerings across these organizations.
• Use a consultative selling approach to establish sustainable relationships with key executives and decision-makers across procurement, operations, facilities, IT, and human resources.
• Leverage multi-family market knowledge and guided sales skills to execute the sale.
• Conduct in-depth research and data collection and develop a sales penetration strategy. The candidate will leverage all available tools to develop a project plan and related wave analysis.
• Lead solution development efforts that best address member needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel and suppliers.
• Consistently and effectively capture key information about the client’s decision-making processes to accelerate the sales process. The ability to accurately manage key account information to drive strategy is a must.
• Use various means of outreach including contacting clients, attending market, or customer events, and establishing relationships with relevant industry “centers of influence” to drive results.
• Develop and conduct prequalification steps and evaluate all requirements prior to executing the sale.
• Deliver both in person and virtual proposals to support the business case.
• Conduct ongoing review of programs and processes -post sale- to ensure that solutions are positioned for sustainable success.
• Work with supplier partners to meet and exceed growth goals and increase utilization of solutions.
• Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Continually improve knowledge of the industries that we serve and how our services can improve client operations.
• Travel as required.
Personal Characteristics/Skills
• Proven track record in selling either consultative services or other non-transactional products / services for at least five years to executives across procurement, operations, facilities, IT, finance and/or human resources.
• In-depth knowledge of multifamily housing, commercial, single-family real estate and/or the supply chain space.
• Able to demonstrate large account sales success within multiple categories and navigating complex environments.
• Excellent communicator within the executive suite and other key leaders.
• Resourceful and dynamic thinking and problem solving.
• Strong guided sales capabilities.
• Experience entering and managing key data points to advance sales within Salesforce.com.
• Analytical ability with strategic planning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to travel.
• Attend multifamily housing industry events such as apartment association trade shows and selected local, regional, and national level meetings.
• Multifamily experience required.
