Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, onsite leader responsible for both driving catering sales and executing high-volume events. This role requires the ability to secure multi-thousand-dollar business while leading seamless, end-to-end event delivery. Success in this position depends on strong sales ability, operational expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive catering revenue by prospecting, booking, and managing high-volume events
  • Develop proposals, menus, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs)
  • Lead all onsite event execution, including setup, service, and breakdown
  • Supervise staff, ensure high-quality service, and guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate logistics including staffing, rentals, transportation, and A/V
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance (food, labor, profitability)
  • Build and maintain client and vendor relationships to support business growth
  • Hire, train, and coach team members while maintaining service standards
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, safety, and sanitation regulations

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in catering, events, or hospitality leadership
  • Proven success booking and executing large-scale events
  • Strong knowledge of food service, menu development, and operations
  • Experience managing budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and adaptability

 

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with event/CRM systems

Working knowledge of A/V setup
