Jewelry Processor, Ecommerce Department, Full-time $14/hr

Have you worked in a jewelry store, are you familiar with estate sale jewelry? If yes, the Jewelry Processor position might be the right job for you!

ShopGoodwill, our Ecommerce sales site, is looking for a Jewelry Processor to sort, evaluate and prepare jewelry pieces for posting on our ShopGoodwill website. 

Hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

The hourly rate is $14.00 with a $1.00/hour raise at 90 days.

 ** Must have knowledge about jewelry, gems, and precious metals. ** 

1. Sort, evaluate, and identify the value of donated jewelry 
2. Perform proper testing for all jewelry identified with possible value, gems, or precious metal
3. Ensure quality of merchandise and pre-sort items 
4. Research specialty items to ensure proper descriptions to maximize the exposure and value
5. Meet or exceed daily goals 

Requirements

Requirements:   

• Must have knowledge about jewelry, gems, and precious metals.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. 
• Previous experience in E-Commerce strongly preferred. 
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and online sales. 
• Strong attention to detail. 

 PHYSICAL/EMOTIONAL DEMANDS: 

 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell and operate computer. 

1. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  
2. Specific vision abilities required by the job include distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
