Job Description

Is the main contact for UX in a certain region or domain and acts as an orchestrator to ensure the right UX is implemented in this region/domain. They maintain a strategic relationship with key customer contacts to influence the direction/success of a product and take an active role in guiding colleagues toward optimal results based on their knowledge of the customer, domain and use case. They will also occasionally take an active role in strategic UX engagements.

Collaboration with UX Team:

• Supporting customers in understanding how to implement UX in their projects​
• Supporting UX teams in understanding the customer‘s problem, context and 
  background of the topic, defining UX competencies needed in a project, 
  supporting the hand-over to UX Lead​
• Selectively, doing operative task in projects (e.g. research, design, leading activities etc)

Portfolio Steering:

• Systematically steering the UX portfolio for a given area​
• Being the main contact person for UX for a given domain / customer​
• Establishing and maintaining a strong network on CI and customer side for a given area​

Business Development:

• Having an overview about a domain, identifying and leveraging 
  synergies between different topics and sharing them with the team and customers​
• Identifying new fields or opportunities for UX within the given domain
• Acquiring new UX projects based on consulting activities​

Enabling Support:

• Planning, organizing and running workshops for UX topics​
• Inspiring customers about how to implement UX mindset and tools​

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science or the equivalent
• A minimum of 7 years working experience of which 5 years are in Human-centered design.
• Works independently within strategic and quarterly operational plans and budgets, plans/prioritize/allocates work for others; end results reviewed periodically by manager.
• In-depth knowledge of strategically planning and implementing components increasing UX maturity (Strategy, People, Processes, Places).
• Experience solving complex, multidimensional challenges related to UX
• Team player with good communication & coaching skills​
• Expert understanding of organizational, strategic context and the way to become more user- centric
• Experience with the Bosch Innovation Framework,​ Preferred
• Agile project management, design thinking, human factors, information architecture, Preferred
• UX Certification (NN/g, IDF, Google), preferred.
