A DAY IN THE LIFE:
This role is responsible for designing solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and ERP enhancements that support Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance, and other business departments of a rapidly growing, innovative medical device company. Works closely with stakeholders from multiple business units to understand their processes and needs, including current state and desired state. Refines use cases and requirements then translates them into technical specifications for developers. Tandem works hard to stay at the forefront of innovation and that reflects in our IT applications as well with a major focus on incorporating the PowerApps automation and AI driven solutions.
- Manage enhancement requests pertaining to Microsoft Dynamics D365 CE and D365 FO
- Explores solutions and opportunities to streamline processes using automation tools such as Microsoft PowerApps and incorporating AI/Machine Learning into business processes
- Identifies opportunities to increase efficiencies in business applications by studying business functions, gathering information and evaluating requirements
- Analyzes and translates complex business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, ensuring that all requirements are understood, documented, and met.
- Collaborates with software developers to propose feasible and innovative solutions
- Develops and coordinates testing of solutions to ensure they meet requirements before deployment to the production environment.
- Assists with formal validation of enhancements or fixes that affect regulatory compliance.
- Helps guide our business partners and help them prioritize requests based on ROI, risk, feasibility, and dependencies
- Acts as liaison with business units to maintain their expectations regarding project progression
- Works with the end user support team, system administrators, and database administrator to investigate and resolve problems.
- Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other Regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.

YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
- 7 years of experience developing solutions for the Microsoft Dynamics suite of applications
- 2 year degree, relevant certification, or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics ERP and/or CRM applications especially D365CE and D365FO.
- Prior experience with PowerApps such as Power Automate, Copilot, or other automation systems associated with Microsoft Dynamics applications.
- Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM applications in a cloud based highly customized environment
- Experience designing integrations to and from CRM applications using variety of tools such as IPaaS (Boomi) as well as SFTP, API etc
- Managing CRM/ERP data to and from customer portals or other websites
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies using JIRA
- Strong customer-service orientation.
- Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable: regulatory compliance (SOX, FDA); insurance billing; medical device industry; International distribution
- Helps build a collaborative team environment by actively mentoring and building up coworkers whenever possible
- Adaptability to quickly and proactively implement change initiatives, providing guidance to others in meeting changing needs.
