Job Title:  Landscape Snow Removal Seasonal

 

Job Summary: 

• Operate and maintain snow & ice removal equipment, such as truck or RTV with plow and salt spreader, and snow blower efficiently and safely.
• Perform other snow removal services at multiple locations, if applicable. Perform other snow removal services at multiple locations, if applicable.
• Communicate effectively and cooperate with supervisors, client, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 0-2 years of experience using landscape maintenance equipment.
• Driver license
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.

Physical Demands: 

Regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance. Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally required to lift more than 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision, the ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point.

Work Environment:

Regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibrations and outside winter weather conditions. The noise level that is typical in this type of work environment is moderate to loud.
