Job Description

Nexthink is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to help bridge the gaps between Marketing, Design, and Development. This person will be pro-active, resourceful, data-driven, and collaborative. They will OWN this role. Reporting to and partnering with the Director of Design, the Senior UX/UI designer will provide a variety of deliverables, including user research and analysis, information architecture, low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes. They will be skilled in and passionate about visual design and brand, but pragmatic enough to know that the user’s experience comes first. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has been a part of a larger UX/UI team or agency and is ready to be the trusted, go-to, in-house expert.

Key Responsibilities

· Create and apply a thorough UX/UI strategy to provide engaging, intuitive user experiences that map to Nexthink’s unique value propositions

· Conduct, interpret, and apply UX research to guide IA and design decisions.

· Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to design, test and optimize solutions that best serve immediate and long-term business objectives

· Quickly iterate on design prototypes incorporating team and user feedback

· Anticipate potential problems and identify testing opportunities and measures of success to promote continual improvement

· Implement and maintain processes to scale, update and manage a design system that effectively reflects Nexthink’s brand and visual standards

· Partner with Development team to provide visual assets and ensure quality implementatio

Qualifications

· 7+ years of professional experience in a UX/UI design role

· Higher-Ed degree/certification with concentrations in both UX and UI (visual design)

· A strong portfolio of real-world projects employing user-centered design principles to create thoughtful, well-designed visual solutions

· Demonstrable experience building and managing a comprehensive UX strategy and design system

· Up-to-date, expert knowledge of design software like Sketch, Figma and Creative Suite

· Familiarity with current WCAG 2.x AA guidelines and their application to experience design a plus
