Job Overview

Performs assigned tasks for SHCNC patients under supervision of a nurse. Collects and reports data to assist the RN / LVN in the evaluation of patients. Assists where necessary in patient bathing, feeding and dressing.

 

 

This position is part time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $24.65 - $34.80/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

Responsibilities

  • Collects and reports data to assist the RN/LVN in the evaluation of patient. Organizes and sets priorities related to assigned tasks in collaboration with the supervising RN/LVN. Carries out tasks as related to the plan of care, as assigned, in coordination and support of the interdisciplinary team goals and according to the developmental level of the patient
  • Demonstrates open, accurate and timely communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective therapeutic interventions
  • Maintains competency, adheres to standard of practice, and recognizes own learning needs to maximize development and optimal patient care
  • Provides wound care in partnership with the nurse

Qualifications

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of relevant experience
  • CNA Certificate

 

Required:

  • CPR
  • COVID-19 vaccination and booster
