Overview
Join Our Team at Family Services of Central MA as a Homemaker!
Pay: $20.00 Hour
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to assist individuals and families with essential household tasks in a supportive and respectful environment. As a Homemaker, you will help individuals live comfortably and independently by providing a variety of services under the direction of a field supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shopping, menu planning, and meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, and mopping
- Clean the kitchen, bathroom, and change beds
- Handle laundry and dishwashing
- Pick up prescriptions and run essential errands
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers' license and reliable transportation for frequent travel
- Completion of Homemaker Orientation training (3 hours) upon hire
- Completion of 37-hour Homemaker training program within 6 months
- Ongoing state-required staff development training (6 hours per year)
