Overview
Humanscale is forming a new PMO team and are seeking to recruit a PMO Business Analyst. It is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in building a new team and helping to establish its practices and principles, in addition to the standard duties and responsibilities of a Business Analyst.
The PMO would engage in our most important processes, workflows and initiatives spanning multiple Humanscale departments. The PMO analyst will be a core contributor in utilizing technical, documentation, analytical and other skills, to implement new initiatives and drive improvement in existing processes. This is a hybrid position with 2 days remote and 3 days in the office per week.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis - Analyze data sets to extract actionable insights and measure project performance. Understand and deconstruct complex systems, identifying patterns, and deriving meaningful insights to drive project improvements.
- Documentation/Business Process Modeling – Create comprehensive project documentation, including plans, requirements, proposals, and reports, to support project transparency and continuity. Create visual representations of business processes to analyze and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Requirement Gathering - Elicit, document, and manage requirements to ensure project deliverables meet business needs.
- Support Implemented Changes – Conduct post-mortems, ensure new processes and procedures are being followed, determine if additional improvements are needed, and assist teams with developing KPIs when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar relevant field.
- 5+ years of Project Management/Business Analyst experience.
- Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication to articulate project requirements, findings, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Customer focused. Adept at managing difficult situations. Can build credibility within an organization and with customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills including root cause identification and continuous improvement.
- Possesses / develops knowledge regarding products, procedures, and policies. Understands critical issues affecting the organization.
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project alignment and success.
- Project management certifications such as PMP desired but not essential.
- Capable of balancing team and individual responsibilities; provide and welcome feedback. Able to foster a strong team environment.
- Ability to foster positive working relationships. Maintain composure and is receptive to new ideas and feedback.
- Excellent follow-through skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Applications, Project Management, Monday.com and analytical tools.
