The Role at a Glance:
This position will perform and deliver on assignments and projects in a dynamic and evolving reporting environment while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of Financial Reporting. They will be responsible for preparing and analyzing reporting activities required by generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

- Prepares and analyzes financial statements, supporting schedules and other reporting deliverables.
- Conducts financial analysis on consolidated and business unit results, including providing ongoing support for the business unit teams and our various other business partners as needed.
- Identifies and researches reporting topics arising from application of accounting principles and standards and rules and regulations of the SEC and other regulators.
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Participates in accounting close including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepares internal management reporting.
- Prepares quarterly and annual SEC and regulatory filings.
- Prepares and/or reconciles other financial data for Investor Relations.
- Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree - Minimum Required
- 1 - 3+ Years of experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
- Professional designation (or candidate for designation) as a CPA preferred

The pay range for this position is $53,500 - $96,300 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
