<p>Job ID: 23228 </p> <p><br/> Nordea Asset Management is looking for a Senior Operational Risk Officer to our Copenhagen office. </p> <p><br/> Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is responsible for all actively managed investment products in Nordea and handles the development, implementation, running, support and management of our asset management product offering, including the operational production on behalf of the fund companies. Nordea Asset Management has the vision of being a leading European asset manager.</p> <p> </p> <p>To support this vision, Risk Management &amp; Control is looking for a senior operational risk officer. Risk Management &amp; Control is a highly dedicated, international team - spearheaded by the CRO. We reside in the primary hubs of NAM – Copenhagen, Stockholm, Luxembourg, Helsinki and Lisbon, and the team is responsible for all 2nd line of defence (LoD) risk activities globally in NAM – including subsidiaries and branches.<br/> <br/> About this opportunity<br/> <br/> As the Senior Operational Risk Officer, you will be part of the 2nd LoD team, supporting and positively influencing the 1st LoD in managing operational risks. You will be a key part in ensuring that we in NAM control our operational risks according to requirements and in the best way possible, promoting a strong risk culture.</p> <p><br/> What you will be doing:</p> <ul> <li>Take a senior role in the daily work of NAM Risk Management &amp; Control, including incident management, change management, risk and control self-assessments, control-testing, third-party risk management as well as assurance activities.</li> <li>Develop and follow up on relevant key risk indicators as part of risk appetite in our different legal entities.</li> <li>Prepare management- and board risk reporting in our different legal entities.</li> <li>Continuously update our internal framework within Risk Management &amp; Control.</li> <li>Acting as a trusted partner to 1st LoD.</li> </ul> <p><br/> You’ll join a senior 2nd LoD team working closely and “hands on” with 1st LoD, as well as management and board.
