Description
The Department of Aerospace Engineering, College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for a part-time (non-tenure) position. Successful applicants will be appointed in the title of Senior Professor, with a four and a half (4.5) month academic appointment at 69.25% FTE, and the possibility of an additional summer appointment contingent upon need and availability of funds. The anticipated start date of the position will be spring of 2026, concluding 31 May 2026. The successful applicant will perform research, participate in the department’s activities, and serve the profession. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Qualifications
Applicants must have earned doctorate in Nuclear Engineering with research emphasis in Theory of Functional Connections, satellite constellation design, algorithms (k-vector applications), and star navigation.
