Job Description:

Job General Description: 

Reporting directly to the Director of Athletics, this position plays a pivotal role in creating a fan-centric and high-energy environment with memorable fan experiences. This position is responsible for developing and executing creative, strategic marketing campaigns and fan engagement initiatives across all ticketed sports, with a focus on enhancing the game day experience, increasing ticket sales, strengthening sponsorship relations, and building long-term brand affinity for Mount St. Mary’s Athletics. This position oversees the Assistant Director of Marketing and Athletic Development and Graduate Assistant for Ticket Operations and Service. 
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for all ticketed varsity sports to drive ticket sales, fan engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Assist with the promotional planning and execution for home events, including giveaways, themed nights, student initiatives, kids club, and sponsor activations.
  • Prepare and coordinate the execution of gameday scripts and serve as The Run of Show Director for Men’s and Women’s Basketball games.
  • Create a dynamic and inclusive game day atmosphere for all home contests by collaborating with spirit groups, music/PA, and content creation/communication teams.
  • Assist with the fulfillment and cultivation of corporate sponsorships, including in-game signage, digital promotions, and event-based activations.
  • Coordinate marketing and visibility for fundraising events and The Truly Terrace hospitality on game days.
  • Support ticketing campaigns in collaboration with the Ticket Manager to maximize attendance and revenue.
  • Oversee Spirit Squads and serve as the point of contact.
  • Supervise Student Interns and the Ticket Operations and Service Graduate Assistant.

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 2-3 years minimum of fan experience, gameday content, ticketing, or previous related work
  • Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft and Adobe products.

    $60,000/year
