Remote Junior Software Test Engineer

This is a remote position.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Execute manual tests to ensure product functionality, reliability, and usability.

Write, maintain, and improve automated test scripts.

Collaborate with developers to identify, log, and track defects.

Contribute to test planning, test case design, and regression suites.

Perform API testing with tools or code-based approaches.

Integrate tests within CI/CD pipelines (with support from senior engineers).

Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and processes.

The skills and traits we’re looking for:

1+ year of hands-on QA experience.

Solid foundation in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript (at least one is required). Ability to write basic scripts, maintain tests, and gradually take ownership of automation suites.

Experience with Playwright (preferred), or Selenium/Cypress, with willingness to switch to Playwright if not yet familiar.

Some knowledge of REST API testing , ideally with tools like Postman or directly in code (e.g., requests, axios, supertest).

Basic familiarity with Git workflows.

Awareness of how automation fits into CI/CD pipelines .

Ideally some exposure to both manual testing and automation frameworks.

Demonstrated strong learning potential and eagerness to grow into senior QA role.

Strong analytical thinking and detail orientation.

Curiosity and ability to self-learn (we’ll invest in helping them grow).

Good communication skills to work effectively with developers and other QAs.
