This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
Purpose
This Senior Administrative Program Coordinator will facilitate technical assistance on system change, workforce development and implementation of evidence-based and best practices in substance use treatment and recovery in a multi-state area.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of technical assistance projects, identification of subject matter experts, and selection of project activities and outcomes.
- Coordinate technical assistance teams working with local communities and state agencies. Oversee communication among technical assistance providers and recipients. Identify barriers to successful project completion.
- Collaborate with state and regional agencies and project partners. Coordinate outreach with community stakeholders.
- Develop written project plans, logic models, and project reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of program administration or program coordination experience in human services and health care settings. Ability to collaborate effectively with state and community behavioral and primary health agencies to meet project goals and objectives. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Values the contributions of others in the work environment. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree with at least 3 years of experience managing complex, multi-tasked projects. Experience in and knowledge of best practices for addiction treatment and recovery. Familiarity with federal policies related to behavioral health and substance use.
Salary Range
$65,000 - $70,000 - depending on qualifications
Working Conditions
May work around standard office conditions
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
Work Shift
M-F, Flexible between 7am-6pm
