Job Description
In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Learning Lead to work with various Lakeshore teams, including Distribution and Supply Chain; Talent, Performance, Leadership, Learning & Organization (TPLLO) Effectiveness; and Onboarding. In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive learning programs for all Lakeshore Distribution and Supply associates. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Distribution, the role is crucial for promoting best practices in adult learning while also addressing TPLLO roadmap work, including the use of a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging lens to ensure such practices are embedded in all learning opportunities. The ideal candidate has worked as an SME in Distribution and has a proven ability to design and facilitate adult learning programs. This role operates on-site at our Carson, CA, headquarters.
A day in the office looks like this:
- Designing, creating and executing effective learning content for training and development, which involves partnering with Distribution leadership teams to understand objectives and to design long-term and short-term learning plans/curriculum
- Revising content/curriculum to meet the needs of adult learners and address determined KPIs, requiring up-to-date industry knowledge and using innovative learning strategies
- Delivering content with assessment measures and providing trackable return on investment, via regularly gathering feedback and data to benefit existing or future learning opportunities
- Executing and/or facilitating content per designed learning plan/curriculum, including self-paced learning paths or live learning events that promote behavior change
- Organizing, hosting and facilitating large-group learning events both on-site and off-site
Qualifications
Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5-7+ years of combined experience in Learning, Talent Management, HRIS and/or PMO-related activities; experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred
- Deep knowledge of adult learning practices and the ability to apply them to various learning modalities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence change in an established culture
- Ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels with professional maturity to know when to exert influence and when to follow
- A proactive self-starter who is empowered to work independently as well as part of a large team
- Ability to simplify, streamline and articulate complicated processes through clear communication and easy, practical application
- Strong data analysis, reporting and insight-gathering to measure success of programs and initiatives
- Ability to travel domestically, with potential to travel internationally

- Salary: $70,000-$97,000 with an annual bonus of up to 10%
