Online School of Divinity Adjunct - Pastoral Counseling (Graduate/Doctoral Level)

Adjuncts are essential to Liberty University’s mission of Training Champions for Christ. They should strive to employ a variety of techniques for the ‎‎‎‎development of good learning ‎‎conditions, view each student as a unique individual, and insofar as it is ‎‎‎‎possible, provide for individual ‎‎differences, abilities, and interests. ‎

Job qualifications: Applicants must possess one of the following degrees from an accredited school: PhD, ThM, EdD, or DMin in Pastoral Counseling or in a qualifying area.

•    Degree must be from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
•    Volunteer or paid experience as a pastoral counselor or counselor in a ministry-related context, specific to at least one of the course learning outcomes.
•    Superior interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills required.
•    Creative, innovative, and problem-solving skills required.
•    Proven organizational skills and ability to complete assignments timely and accurately with minimal supervision.
•    Proficiency in MS Office, LMS, and the Internet.
•    Able to obtain and maintain licenses if applicable as required by state or accrediting commissions.
•    Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level is essential.
