Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC), Surface Radars & Sensors Center department is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Principal Engineer, where you will apply your experience and technical expertise and leadership skills in the planning, integration, test, and activation of exciting programs. You will direct the SI&T team to perform Testing for all Raytheon and non-Raytheon equipment associated with the program. You will be responsible for coordinating activities with government and contract personnel.
What You Will Do
- Develop strategy and lead integration and test activities for SPY-6A(V) radar system
- Develop plans and provide direction for integration and test team activities
- Coordinates with I&T CPT Lead, 6A(V) PM, IPT Lead, CE, and LSE
- Communicate externally, responsible for interfacing with leaders in the 6A(V) customer community
- 15% Travel is required to support integration and test activities with the team at numerous in-plant labs, Land Based Test Sites, Shipyards, customer facilities
- Be a Subject Matter Expert in Systems Integration, Verification, and/or Validation Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 15%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
- This role is onsite at our RTX facility in Marlborough, MA
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in systems engineering, systems integration, system verification, and/or system validation.
- Experience with an integration lab, test facility, and/or field.
- Experience with technical and/or functional leadership.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in radar integration or on naval radar programs.
- Experience working with the US Navy Customer.
- Experience deploying technical strategies across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with RLPM, internal reviews, and gate reviews.
- Completion of the Test Architect Development Program.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
