Be the champion behind safer care and better outcomes as our Patient Safety Officer! In this high-impact role, you’ll turn data into action, curiosity into prevention, and collaboration into an error-free care experience. From analyzing safety events and near misses to leading multidisciplinary improvement teams, educating staff, and partnering with clinical and executive leaders, you’ll help weave patient safety into everything we do. You’ll drive national safety priorities, lead proactive risk-reduction initiatives, and serve as a trusted voice for Just Culture, High Reliability, and continuous improvement. Please note the following important details regarding this position: 

  • This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location. 
  • Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: 
    • New Mexico: Hobbs

Required Qualifications:    

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or another medical related field of study
  • 5 or more years of clinical practice experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training in PI and safety tools and techniques, as well as team dynamics and facilitation skills.
  • Master's Degree Nursing.
  • Exposure to quality management field.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
