The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Video Creator for our R&D functions in the United States and Canada (USAC), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Delivering content: work closely with internal cross-functional team to create and deliver content.
• Assisting others: provide specialist consultant support to the technical community within our USAC region (United States and Canada).
• Providing coaching and training to the technical community on using the range of filming equipment and editing software available at 3M.
• Being a proactive member of the global digital hub team, sharing best practices and aligning standards.
• Use, transport, maintain, and store USAC-based digital equipment.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Minimum five (5) years of video creation, communications or related field in a media production in a private, public, government or military environment.

• Proficient and experienced with editing software such as: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe, and Premier Elements.
• Demonstrated camera knowledge of professional camera formats.
• Knowledge of digital formats required for external platform use.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include

• Possesses strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Working with cross-functional teams and an international mindset with an understanding of global content creation.

Working location:

·         Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to St Paul, 3M Center)

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $82,370 - $100,675, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
