Manager Office/Cashier/Scale Master Hourly

We are seeking an individual that has strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, the ability to learn company specific software, and dependable. 

 

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Operate as the primary Cashier and Scale master, ensuring accuracy with transactions
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures as well as daily and monthly reconciling
• Operate the scale to weigh inbound and outbound materials, generate scale tickets
• Maintain organized filing system
• Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information
• Coordinate with yard personnel
• Maintain office housekeeping and organization
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test
• Must pass a background check and credit check
• Experience in Recycling Logistics and Scale Operations.
• Preferred – high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus
• Ability to: communicate with others effectively; understand direction (written or oral) and use basic math skills as the job demands
• Utilize MS Office to produce reports in various combinations to all readers and audiences

Hour requirements

Mon-Fri - 8am-5:15pm

Sat- 8am-12pm

Job Expectations

Physical Requirements

• Work Environment: Office, with occasional visits through the scrap metal facility
• Equipment & Tools: Office with occasional need for PPE

Compensation will be $20-23 hourly based on experience.
