Responsibilities: 

• Review and analyze contracts/legal documents and assist in contract negotiations
• Prepare monthly reports and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Serve as a liaison with outside attorneys
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
• Manage case files and maintain organized records
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and other parties involved in construction projects
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
• Perform administrative tasks such as court filings, scanning, and data entry
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Required Experience and Skills:

• Paralegal certification or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably in the commercial construction industry
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must have excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
