The ideal candidate would understand the business of banking and have an aptitude for contributing toward the development and improvement of CCAR stress testing models related to loans, deposits, pricing spreads and fee income. The candidate’s primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of model governance from the first line’s perspective. The ideal candidate would bring experience from within the modeling community of a large bank and be the primary interface between the first line and second/third line. The candidate should have an aptitude for developing technical skills pertaining to quantitative and qualitative forecasting methodologies to support the testing, monitoring, and evaluation of potential model changes. The candidate would be skilled in project management within the context of the model lifecycle events including redevelopments, validations, material changes, and remediation efforts.PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Job Description
- Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
- Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
- Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
- Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
- Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
