Global Buyer - Mechanical Parts

For one of our five Italian locations, located in San Giorgio Monferrato (AL), we are looking for a Global Buyer who is in charge of executing a sourcing strategy for the assigned spend. Key responsibilities:

• Drive supplier sourcing activities for the sub-category (assessments, selection, resourcing, RFQs, …)
• Act as a vendor account owner for the scope : negotiation, business review, …
• Own execution of supplier panel transformation initiatives : resourcing, consolidation, risk mitigation
• Develop a pipeline of cost reduction initiatives and opportunities across all sourcing leverages
• Ensure consistency of sourcing roadmap data and target achievements
• Drive sourcing execution leveraging network across sites globally
• Lead execution of transformation initiatives
• Identification of new sources, negotiation, supplier selection
• Build up and maintain strategic supplier relationship and ensuring high level of supplier management
• Request for quotation, cost breakdown and total cost ownership analysis
• Contract management
• Phase in / out of suppliers
• Price list maintenance

5+ years sourcing or supply-chain experience in international organization Competencies and skills:

Education and languages:
