About the role

TechFlow, Inc. seeks to hire a Technical Solutions Architect to support our federal customer(s) and Business Development activities. This is a staff role primarily focused on the support of corporate growth within the Digital Services arena for Federal Government customers. Our Digital Services organization supports both growth for the Digital Services Business Unit, as well as, aiding our Platform Services, Base Operation and Energy Business lines where technology serves as a differentiator. Within Digital Services we have strong customer experience in delivering system modernization, cloud architecture and adoption, Enterprise Architecture and CX support to our federal clients. The Digital Services organization has been instrumental in the growth of all our business units by acting as an internal cross organization component. We develop and deliver solutions that leverage current and evolving Digital Services practices and technologies to deliver high value solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with management and team members frequently to propose initiatives and help establish priorities based on strategic growth initiatives
  • Work with the Business Development staff across the organization to inject technologies that deliver optimal value proposition to both the customer and TechFlow
  • Develop solutions in support of growth opportunities to include conceptualization, rationalization and articulation in support of proposals, whitepapers and other growth initiatives
  • Develop rationalization of staff composition and level of effort to support the proposed technical solutions
  • Periodically engage in direct customer exchanges to gain insights into customer objectives, challenges, and constraints
  • Periodically engage in direct customer support activities (typically to successfully launch initiatives conceived by the architect which have been adopted by the customer)
  • Facilitate and lead cross functional activities to increase stakeholder participation and satisfaction to include providing enterprise architecture support, program engagement and coordination, working groups, councils and Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
  • Present proposals to TechFlow Business Unit management, TechFlow executive team and senior government officials in a clear and compelling way
  • Continuously improve the team’s knowledge, methodologies and inventory of solution and architecture design blueprints
  • Balance business and technology, including ability to articulate high level technical solutions to business problems and to tie your solutions to success criteria
  • Analyze available technologies and makes recommendations of technologies to use and how best to use them

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 7years’ experience in design, analysis, and implementation of information systems architecture. Must include extensive experience with enterprise architecture and development best practices
  • Ability to evaluate current state and recommend the adoption of new technologies, while providing detailed specifications and expected outcomes of proposed recommendations
  • Ability to provide guidance on balancing competing aspects such as security, cost, performance, and functionality.
  • Possesses up-to-date knowledge on emerging and modern technologies, methodologies, approaches and best practices.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to create clear observations, analysis and conclusions based on customer interviews and data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified in one or more aspects of Technology similar to but not limited to:
    • Certified Solution Architect (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Cyber Security certifications
    • TOGAF
    • Agile Development
    • PMP
