Key Role:
Evaluates, coordinates, and implements dynamic technical solutions. Develops and integrates complex architectures, improve systems, and connects networks. Works to improve technical and mission operations, integrates new capabilities, evaluates future requirements, and facilitates data operations and recovery of systems. Analyzes User and mission need and requirements to plan and implement architecture solutions. Captures and integrates essential system capabilities and business functions required for partial or full system restoration after a catastrophic failure event. Employs secure configuration management processes. Identifies and prioritizes critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders. Documents and updates, as necessary, all definition and architecture activities. Translates proposed capabilities into technical requirements. Ensures acquired or developed systems and architectures are consistent with the organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines. Documents how the implementation of a new system or new interface between systems impacts the current and target environment, including but not limited to security posture. Develops system security contexts, system security CONOPS, and baseline system security requirements in accordance with applicable cybersecurity requirements. Provides advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes. Provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience writing detailed functional specifications that document the architecture development process
Experience analyzing candidate architectures, allocating security services, and selecting security mechanisms
Experience planning implementation strategy to ensure enterprise components can be integrated and aligned
Ability to define appropriate levels of system availability based on critical system functions and ensure system requirements identify appropriate disaster recovery and continuity of operations requirements, including fail-over or alternate site requirements, backup requirements, and material supportability requirements for system recover or restoration
Ability to integrate key management functions with cyberspace
Ability to evaluate security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response to requirements contained in acquisition documents, identify the gaps in security architecture, and integrate results
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
DoD IAT level III Certification, including CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or CISSP Associate, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with modeling tools, including Cameo Enterprise Architect, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or IBM Rhapsody
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, including DoDAF 2.0, and UAF with related network C2 capability requirements
Knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense industry with systems engineering for C2 systems
Knowledge of capability requirements generation at the service level
Ability to plan and deliver capability demonstrations in an Agile cadence
Ability to produce solutions independently or with a team
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master’s degree in CS, Network Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Object Management Group (OMG), Certified System Modeling Language Professional (OCSMP), or Model User and Builder Certification
Enterprise Architect Certification
