Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team in the Transaction Banking Technology space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple software platforms and implementing SaaS solutions. This individual will oversee platform, system integration across multiple initiatives. The role requires both technical proficiency and leadership in managing global cross-functional teams and ensuring high availability and scalability of enterprise systems.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical planning, architectural decisions, and performance tuning for mission-critical systems with measurable efficiency gains (e.g., 20x improvement in processing speed).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Oversee the delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Supervise engineering teams working on Java-based web and enterprise applications, ensuring adherence to development best practices, code quality, and test coverage.
  • Champion system upgrades, service reliability, and platform scalability across legacy and modern architectures using technologies like Spring Boot, Kafka, and IBM MQ.
  • Monitor system performance using Splunk, SonarQube, and drive incident resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement SaaS solutions, driving the adoption of best practices and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise system management or engineering leadership roles, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, REST/SOAP APIs, multithreading, Kafka, IBM MQ, SQL, and architectural design patterns.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, team collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, ALM), and DevOps best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and cross-team communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of working experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience with Oracle VAM and Oracle Digital Experience is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, driving high performance and achieving project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and related technologies.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $134K - $182K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
