Job Description

Position: High School English Tutor (Regents Prep)
Location: Queens, NY (in-person)
Pay Range: $33 - $35 per hour

We are searching for a passionate, knowledgeable English tutor to work with high-school students during the school day, focusing exclusively on preparation for the NYS English Language Arts (ELA) Regents exam.

Compensation & Schedule

• Target Launch Date: July 21, 2025
• Schedule: Three 4-hour shifts each week (12 hrs/week)
• Pay: $33 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Education, ELA, or a related field.
• Previous experience tutoring or teaching high school English.
• Familiarity with the New York State Regents exams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates who have been fingerprinted by the NYCDOE are strongly preferred.
