Vivint Creative is responsible for the creative execution of Vivint's marketing efforts and the consumer-facing Vivint brand. This includes developing creative for many types of needs from broad, integrated campaigns to individual creative requests for the following stakeholders and marketing groups: brand and advertising, influencer, and social media, customer and lifecycle marketing, recruiting, and corporate/internal communications.

Our team provides expertise and support in the following areas: creative strategy; advertising ideation, messaging, and creative concepting; copywriting for ads (including scripts), campaigns, digital, email, website, content, social and influencers, customer communication, events, and more; art direction; design and design direction/influence throughout the Vivint organization; brand guidelines; creative leadership and partnership across all Vivint channels; UX and digital; and design production. Creative also assists our Sales channels with marketing-related expertise for recruiting, incentive, social, or other campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Our Sr. Art Director role is to directly solve client messaging needs. They intelligently lead projects through all phases of development—acting as a skilled leader to align client needs to creative output—ultimately working to ensure the desired success of everything the Marketing Creative design team touches.

The core responsibility of the Sr. Art Director is to direct campaign work through insightful concept development, and detail-oriented project oversight through to the production teams.

A Senior Art Director

Is driven by concepts, but can design anything. Has experience in traditional art direction, graphic design, and web design. Understands photography, and videography principles. Can recognize good writing and direct copywriters. Is plugged into pop culture and the visual arts. Leads by example. Is a self-starter. Produces work that wasn’t asked for. Delivers ideas that surprise their creative director(s) with their originality. Thrives under pressure. Crafts concepts that are fun, but always based on strategy. Fosters a spirit of collaboration. Pitches new projects to leadership that are based on larger initiatives. Sets the creative tone and energy across the department.

A Senior Art Director can…

Lead projects. Fluidly switch between advertising, design, and web projects. Design with meticulous attention to detail. Bring a conceptual, strategic approach to every assignment. Effortlessly collaborate with writers, videographers, and designers. But can also run projects independently. Mentor junior creatives. Creative direct video shoots. Craft a strategic pitch deck. Command a room with their presentation skills.

A Senior Art Director has…

2+ years of agency experience. 5+ years of overall experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:   

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
