Director of Metaverse Content, Lifestyle

The Metaverse Content team focused on Lifestyle and Entertainment experiences is growing. Our Lifestyle content organization works with innovative fitness & wellness brands to deliver terrific workouts and mindfulness programs in Quest with a focus on providing exceptional and immersive recreational sports experiences. We are seeking a leader for this organization, responsible for leading the team to produce and deliver exciting new experiences across our portfolio.


As leader of this organization, you will help drive development of new immersive content experiences that will inspire people to use Quest to get fit, play sports with friends,pursue their hobbies, and help people get the most of their device across a range of Lifestyle use cases.


This requires working across our cross-functional Reality Labs teams as well as external partners and developers. You will be responsible for leading a team of deeply experienced and high impact professionals to build strategy, source experiences with partners and developers and collaborate on production of these ground-breaking experiences.


The right candidate will have a deep background in interactive content development and/or studio leadership. Experience in both game development but also Lifestyle experiences is ideal. Lifestyle experience can include leading digital innovation in fitness, wellness, health and/or sports.Director of Metaverse Content, Lifestyle Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, sourcing, partner/developer management and production across key XR applications and Horizon Worlds in the Lifestyle content area.
• Manage an impactful organization of deeply experienced professionals to ensure high quality and across projects
• Work across cross-functional teams, partners and developers to provide creative direction and leadership
• Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights, as well as interactive content best practices and know-how, to inform direction
• Establish measurable outcomes for projects and move success metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in relevant interactive or digital content leadership and/or head of studio
• Experience working in and influencing global cross-functional teams
• Demonstrable experience in content strategy development
• Proven track record of delivering outsized rates of product adoption
• Demonstrated project management and operational skills
• Experience to deliver results in an ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS degree
• Experience working in immersive content, preferably virtual and augmented reality
• Deep interest in, and understanding of, immersive content including mixed reality and virtual environments
