Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit an R&D Microbiological Lab Analyst to join our R&D team at Sapes, Northern Greece premises.

The R&D Microbiological Lab Analyst is responsible for conducting microbiological tests and carrying out specialized analytical tests so as to provide assistance to the R&D team. These include routine and non-routine microbiological tests on in-process, final container products and stability samples, as well as analytical method development. This position also contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

  • Use a range of methods from standard and well established routines to specially adapted processes
  • Plan own work within the constraints of a research program or test schedule
  • Liaise with the maintenance staff on repair of faults or modifications
  • Work on specific projects under guidance of a technical specialist
  • Record data, observations, and conclusions
  • Work on R&D projects for new products
  • Keep accurate and detailed records on various procedures and protocol
  • Generate reports on projects, testing, etc.
  • Perform various tests on products
  • Support activities regarding audits and contract labs

Requirements

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BSc Degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences or relevant field
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a relevant role in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven experience in microbiological lab techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills both in Greek and English (writing and speaking)
  • Competent in microbiological laboratory instrumentation
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
