Colchis Medical Services is seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Director to join our telehealth organization. The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing a team of clinicians providing virtual direct patient care. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing clinical leadership, promoting best practices, and developing strategies to enhance patient outcomes in a telehealth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• This position will be a hybrid role of leadership and direct patient care. 
• Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, while promoting the highest quality of care.
• Manage a team of clinicians, including midlevel providers, and ensure they are adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to clinicians to ensure that they are providing safe, effective, and efficient care to patients.
• Evaluate the clinical performance of the team members and identify areas for improvement, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance their skills.
• Work closely with the technology team to ensure that the telehealth platform is designed to support safe and effective clinical care.
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to promote a team-based approach to patient care.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creative problem-solving to enhance the telehealth program's effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including medical organizations, regulatory agencies, and other telehealth providers.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, with a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
• Board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
• Multiple state licenses (5+ states including either Texas, California, or Florida) 
• Clinical experience in a telehealth environment, with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Experience in healthcare services outside the realm of insurance coverage.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex medical information to a variety of audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to identify trends and make evidence-based decisions.
• Experience in quality improvement, risk management, and clinical governance.
• Knowledge of telehealth regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the organization and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Gsuite, and multiple EHRs

Yearly salary: $250-300k

This salary represents Colchis Medical Services' good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Colchis Medical Services may ultimately pay more or less than the posted salary. The final salary for this position will be determined by Colchis Medical Services’ sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Colchis Medical Services business and other operational considerations.
