Senior Quality Analyst*

Develop and implement test plans, cases, scenarios, and scripts to thoroughly test internal and external application changes and new products. Write and maintain test automation. Develop quality assurance standards. Review software requirements, specifications, and technical design documentation to ensure software standards are met. Identify risks to system functionality by creating test plans and executing test cases. Define and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts. Provide post-release support related to defect analysis, scalability, and workflow. Analyze and troubleshoot erroneous results, determine root causes, and recommend solutions. Conduct manual regression testing of applications on a scheduled basis to ensure product integrity. Work closely with software development team to ensure timely and effective testing effort. Participate on Agile Scrum teams to understand and influence software requirements to build effective test plans and improve end-product usability. Communicate with management and the development team regarding test objectives, requirements, and results. Mentor new team members on testing best practices.

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of software testing experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree and 5 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree and 2 years of experience as stated. Also requires 2 years of experience with Unix, Jira, Postman, Selenium, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Cucumber, Java, and Agile methodologies. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Base compensation ranges from $103,542 to $134,000. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
