About the role

Wright-Pierce, a multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Resident Project Representative I for water and wastewater treatment facility upgrades and related projects.

Positions available are full-time. Projects located in MA, ME, CT, VT, NH.

Responsibilities

  • Performs field observation services on small-scale water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Performs field observation services on specific elements of large-scale projects under direction of Senior RPR, Project Manager, and/or Lead Project Engineer following established standards.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with construction contractors, municipal and private property owners in a cooperative, productive manner while serving the best interest of the client.
  • Discuss plans, specifications and work schedules with project manager and engineers, contractors, utility companies and other governmental agencies.
  • Communicate and enforce construction quality standards.
  • Perform all functions of the position in a safe and conscientious manner.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, wearing and working in proper personal protective equipment.
  • Travel to field/work sites as needed.

Experience

  • Prior work experience with engineering drawings and specifications is required
  • Prior construction oversight for water, wastewater, and sewer system infrastructure improvements is required 
  • Prior work experience with concrete, process piping & equipment is required 
  • Treatment plant experience is preferred
  • Instrumentation, HVAC and electrical systems experience is preferred 
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Submittal Exchange is preferred

    Education

    • Associate's degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Engineering Technology OR 4 years of related work experience
