Job Description

The candidate should be able to work as part of a team or show leadership capabilities managing areas or systems within projects.  Must have experience and be proficient in developing heat and material balances using process simulation software and process flow diagrams (PFDs). Strong proficiency with simulation software is preferred. Experiences within Refining, Petrochemicals, or LNG is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Experience required with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) development as well as experience generating fluid hydraulic calculations for line sizing and formulation of process data for in-line instruments and loads for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines. Additional preferred skillsets include:

• Guiding, reviewing, and approving process design simulations, Design Basis’, PFDs, UFDs, Utility Load Lists, Equipment List, and process studies

• Coordinating and reviewing information between the engineering disciplines, non-engineering disciplines (e.g. Subcontracts, Estimating, and Procurement), and vendors

• Licensor analysis, selection, and coordination

• Greenfield and brownfield experience s

• Field / Operations / start-up experience preferred

• EIT or PE preferred

Job Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of ten (10) years related experience, with average experience of fifteen (15+) years
